Women werent seen as much more than objects and were worked like animals. Although correspond rights for all were affirmed in the founding documents of the unify States, many of the new countrys inhabitants were denied requisite rights (American civil rights movement). And one of these essential rights was an education.

Women and African Americans had lowly to no schooling. Although this country was founded on the public opinion that every man is considered equal, there were a lot of short citizens in the U.S. In 1848, women started a revolution known as the Womens R ights Movement. To let their voices be heard! the women held conventions despite the arising opposition. The important saddle of these conventions was to get their point of liberty and equality out to the equal folk. Martin Luther King Junior delivered his famous I arouse a Dream speech and spoke of how he treasured segregation to stop.
